Leaves Fall During Fall

To begin our Fall Inquiry, we read Leaves Fall Down: Learning about Autumn Leaves, by Lisa Bullard. The children were informed on the reasons for leaves changing colours and falling from trees. In order to apply knowledge on leaves, the class went on a nature walk to find connections between what they read and what they found in our community.
